Or Palm Sunday as it is commonly known...
I can't believe Easter is just next weekend, and even more, I can't believe it's April. What happened to the first quarter of '09?
In any case, thus far this year I have made cards for each of the holidays and some how none of them have made it in the mail. As I type this I am staring at a batch of Valentine's cards and a few Shamrock cards that are magically still here on the desk. Imagine that... So my goal with Easter was to make cards and, hang on now... ACTUALLY MAIL them... crazy concept!!!
Here are the final two Easter cards for this year, and I am very happy to report there is no more 'ish' in my Easter collection as previously posted.
This is Garden Bunny, all A*Muse stamps, and what a shock, but also A*Muse 4 bar lime green band note card. I cropped out the carrots from Ms. Bunny's carrot line and used them along the 'carrot tree' line in the background. Also, I used my 'cool shadow' Copic marker for the sky and blended it in, you can't tell on the scan, but there is definitely a light blue sky kicking back there in 'real life'. And I glazed Ms. Bunny to give her some depth.
Same note card as the above card, and once again all A*Muse stamps... We'll blame it on PaperTales and their ridiculously huge A*Muse collection (I sooo love it!). I just grabbed the Chick this afternoon to go with the egg basket by Salt Box Studios (A*Muse). I fun-flocked the chick and his hair, and used my glaze pens for the eggs.
Have a fantastic Easter holiday!!!
