Another card for A*Muse's 'stick to the pattern' challenge. In this one, the line of trees serve as my pattern/background, and all stamps are A*Muse. In addition, I added some Distress crackle paint (clear rock candy) for texture - the jury is still out on that one. I was going for more of a sepia-tone card but I had to throw in a little sky color and palm green.
This one was actually inspired by our house; now we don't live in a hut (although it might feel that way sometimes - lol) but we do live on the beach and we do have palm trees for miles. It's always amazing to watch the sky at sunset when the sun is setting over the water, the sky bright with colors and the trees turn to a muted brown or black. This card does not do it justice but it is definitely a start.
OMG...I love all the distressing you did on this card...love all the brown tones! It reminds me of a vintage postcard!
